Broken Water Heater Damage in Greenville, SC Home

This home was flooded in Greenville, South Carolina after a water heater broke. The homeowners weren’t there at the time it happened so the water ran for over 24 hours. SERVPRO of Northeast Greenville was called and we immediately responded. Upon arrival we assessed damage, began extraction of water, then started demo. Once all demo was completed, we then set up air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers to stabilize the remainder of the building material in the home. As you see in the before photo, there was a good amount of water that affected the hard wood floors. In the after photo you can see where our team removed the hardwood floor and began the dry-out process. We spent one week on demolition and one week on the drying process. Our customer was very pleased with the results.
